NOTICE pursuant to article 13 of European Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (“GDPR”)

In compliance with the provisions of article 13 of European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), we inform you that your personal data will be processed by electronic and manual instruments in Italy and abroad. This notice was drafted according to the principle of transparency and contains all the elements required by GDPR and is divided into individual sections, each of which addresses a specific topic so as to make the notice quicker, simpler and easy to understand (hereinafter the “notice”).

1. Data Controller

The data controller is PWN Milan (hereinafter known as the “data controller”), whose registered office is at Corso di Porta Ticinese 3, Milan.

2. Legal basis for Processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your express consent, which is given in electronic format at the moment of the registration of your data on the website of PWN Milan.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data will be processed for the dispatch of communications as part of the activities and programmes promoted by PWN Milan designed to foster the personal and professional growth of associates, by technical assistance communications in the event of problems, by communications in response to questions and/or services requested by you and by content of a merely informative and/or popularizing nature (newsletters), without commercial aims. You need you to provide your data in order to enable these aims to be achieved. Failure to provide data or providing partial or incorrect data will prevent PWN Milan from providing you with the requested information or services.

4. Communication of data

Your personal data (first name, surname, email, gender, your company, professional role) may be known by those expressly authorized to process in accordance with article 29 GDPR, and by third parties who are expressly appointed as data processors pursuant to article 28 GDPR for needs that are strictly connected to conducting Association business or complying with legal obligations. Your data will be processed in compliance with GDPR and with Italian legislative decree 196/03 (“Personal Data Protection Code”), and with principles of legality, probity and transparency, appropriacy and relevance, using hard copy and electronic methods by persons authorized by the Association. Appropriate protection measures will be taken to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the data. No automated decision-making process will take place. You and PWN Milan will mutually undertake to comply with all the obligations arising from the notice on the processing of personal data pursuant to article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). The Parties acknowledge themselves to be independent data controllers of the personal data that they process when performing the Agreement. You remain the independent data controller of your personal data and undertake to hold PWN Milan harmless from any claim for compensation that may be made for harm of any nature and type caused to anyone arising from the non-compliance. Likewise, PWN Milan undertakes to hold you harmless from any claim for compensation that may be made for harm of any nature and type caused to anybody arising from non-compliance with current regulations.

5. Data conservation period

Your personal data will be collected for purposes that are precise, appropriate, explicit and legitimate with respect to the business of the Association. Your data will be processed by the Data Controller in a lawful, proper and transparent manner. Processing will not last longer than required for the purposes for which the data were collected and processed (performing the service or carrying out the request - see paragraph 3), without prejudice to legal or accounting or tax regulations or the existence of legal protection needs of the Association, excluding communications to third parties, the principles of proportionality and minimization being applied in all cases.

6. Geographical limit of the processing

Your personal data will be processed by the data controller within the territory of the European Union.

7. Rights of the data subject

As the data subject, you are ensured all rights specified by articles 15 - 20 GDPR, including the right to access, correct and erase data, the right to limit and oppose the processing, the right to withhold consent to the processing (without prejudice to the legality of the processing based on the consent acquired before the revocation).
